Please pray for:
The abortion-vulnerable in our community who don’t know Jesus: For God to remove any barriers that are causing them to consider abortion, and that He would soften their hearts to understand His love for them and their unborn child.
Abortion-vulnerable women within the local faith community: Pray for her to have courage to confide in someone she trusts and feel empowered to make a pregnancy decision from a place of clarity and courage instead of desperation or fear.
Abortion-vulnerable men within the local faith community: That the Lord would instill a strong desire to protect this precious life and to support the mother, and that he would be surrounded by Godly support to feel empowered as a father.
Thrive Medical Clinic staff: For wisdom and strength to honor The Lord and His image-bearers, and that the Holy Spirit would help us serve these families in our community. Pray for our minds and hearts as we work to be His hands and feet.
People struggling with the pain of a past abortion: That these women and men would go to Christ Jesus for forgiveness, and find healing and wholeness in His unconditional love and atoning sacrifice. (Romans 8:1)
The local culture surrounding abortion: That God would fan the flame of compassion and support, so that everyone in an unplanned pregnancy would know their faith community is a safe place for them. Pray that the cycles of silence, isolation and, fear - that leads many to choose abortion - would be broken.
Opportunities to see and care for the abortion-vulnerable: That God would open doors for you to come alongside them. That through your loving and life-affirming influence, they may feel equipped to be able to choose life for their child, and thrive as a family.
