When Sarah* realized she was pregnant, her mind was spinning with worry. Her relationship and living situation were both uncertain, and she didn’t know if she could provide for a child. With so many fears and unknowns, abortion seemed like a way out.
Then Sarah came to Thrive. She had a safe place to confirm her pregnancy, process her fears, and learn about her options and available support. Seeing her baby on the ultrasound was deeply impactful and emotional. She left feeling conflicted and unsure.
We prayed for God to comfort, guide, and provide for her. One by one, people in her life stepped forward to support her. Obstacles that had felt overwhelming began to feel manageable. She took time to process the information and resources we shared, and began to find clarity and hope!
Realizing she didn’t have to walk alone, Sarah chose to parent.
She recently stopped by again to pick up her brand new dresser filled with baby supplies. As we waved goodbye, we were in awe of how God moved in her life. What began with fear and uncertainty became a story of hope, community, and abundant life.
