This guide was created by Thrive Medical Clinic for pregnancy centers, churches, and other ministries to equip their local Body of Christ to become a safe, compassionate place for anyone facing an unplanned pregnancy, or seeking healing after abortion. Our dream is that no one impacted by an unplanned pregnancy would have to walk alone—and that anyone considering abortion due to fear or isolation would be met with overwhelming love and tangible help. Our goal is to equip believers to foster a culture where people feel safe to confide in you, and are met with compassion, unconditional love, and life-affirming support.

The Story Behind This Resource
Thrive Medical Clinic—a life-affirming pregnancy center in Northern Michigan—first created this resource in 2024 to help our local churches care well for people facing unplanned pregnancies. As we shared it, we saw significant fruit—greater understanding, compassionate engagement, and a shift in local culture. It also strengthened our partnerships with churches.
Sensing God’s leading, we updated and expanded this resource so pregnancy centers, churches, and other ministries across the country can use it freely. Our prayer is that it equips your community to be a safe place for those who are vulnerable to abortion, and helps deepen your relationships with your church partners.
